Well, I did have several entries before today's date but it looks like I screwed up and deleted them. Oh well. So far this month I have received my seeds for planting this spring....Heirloom Seeds! There are enough seats for me to plant one entire acre. But, of course I don't have that much land. So I should have some seeds for planting a few years down the road. I will be saving my own seeds so, hopefully, I will have plenty to sell this time next year. Remember, I'm attempting to create an income from the land as well as enough food to feed my family of four for approximately one year. Ontario agriculture has gotten back to me regarding chickens in the backyard. They actually requested that I contact the Chief of bylaws here in Chatham. So I will let you know how that goes.
